What’s old is new again…  This is one way to think about the differences between ITIL®v2 and the newer framework described in ITIL ®v3. The basic practices and concepts contained within version 2 are still present in version 3. What version 3 has done is to repackage and reframe version 2. The table below shows the old and new frameworks side by side.
